As a continuation of the OffSpace concept car that was shown at the Auto China 2016 in Beijing, the NOVA-Space intelligent cockpit will be presented around three themes - Internet of Vehicles (IoV), Scientific Design and L3-Level Auto Driving. From the perspectives of functionality and practicability, the NOVA-Space will display a more complete future-oriented system of electronic intelligent cockpit and human-computer interaction, including human face recognition, driving assistance, auto driving, auto parking, V2V video call, intelligent navigation, IoV, HUD, electronic rearview mirrors, multimedia infotainment and etc.
When the vehicle enters a different driving condition, the intelligent cockpit can switch to a different smart driving mode accordingly. For instance, intelligent cockpit can react and adjust promptly in congestion or emergency mode. The auto driving mode will be switched on on highways, which enables drivers to make relaxing V2V video chats with friends.
Moreover, the intelligent cockpit is equipped with a one-piece extra large curved HD screen, considering the use needs from drivers and passengers in front seat as well. Even assistant drivers can feel the pleasant experience brought by NOVA-Space. Being linked to the central control, the screen is capable of offering navigation, meal-ordering, payment and other considerate services to meet various in-car demands from consumers.
